I am very excited about driving at the new Buddh International Circuit in FP1 in front of my home crowd and while I am obviously disappointed that I won't have the chance to race on Sunday, I accept the team's decision to opt for the experience and talent they have at their disposal with Jarno and Heikki, explained the 27 year-old.

Jarno Trulli - new man or past master? |
2011-09-06 17:05:00 |
| This weekend will see Jarno Trulli start his home race for the 15th time in his Formula One career. Trulli insists it won't be his last, but with Lotus yet to make an announcement on their 2012 driver line-up that hasn't stopped the media bombarding him with questions about his future.
Trulli has had a tough season. It started promisingly enough with a 13th place in Australia - still Lotus's best position this year - and on paper his race results have been superior to Kovalainen's. Unfortunately that is far from the whole story.

Formula One Fantasy - Lotus's Jarno Trulli |
2011-09-02 19:54:00 |
| Ranking fifth on the list of most race starts, with 245 to his name, Lotus's Jarno Trulli has been around the F1 block a fair few times. And though he may have won just one race during his 15-year career, Trulli's seen and done just about everything there is to do in Formula One racing.
Even so, there's still plenty left on the Italian's F1 fantasy wish list, including watching Gilles Villeneuve fight it out with Ayrton Senna at Mugello, combining the best bits of Spa, Suzuka and Barcelona to create a dream circuit and sampling Niki Lauda's Ferrari 312T

2011-08-31 19:48:00 |
| Driving for young upstarts Virgin at the blunt end of the grid, Timo Glock doesn't have one of the easiest roles in Formula One, with 14th at last year's Japanese Grand Prix his highest finish after almost two years with the team.
A spot of daydreaming about his F1 fantasies must be a bit of light relief for the 29 year-old German. We caught up with Glock to find out why racing a steel-braked McLaren MP4-4 on a San Jose street circuit followed by a steak dinner with Alain Prost, Michael Schumacher, Robert Kubica and Jarno Trulli would top his wish list

FIA Friday press conference - Malaysia |
2010-04-02 19:40:00 |
| Team principals and drivers: Tony Fernandes (Lotus), Heikki Kovalainen (Lotus), Vitantonio Liuzzi (Force India) and Otmar Szafnauer (Force India).
Q: First of all, a question to both team principals. How important is this grand prix for you given the area and the location of your teams?
Tony Fernandes: For me it is very special. The first time Lotus is racing in Malaysia which is our home base and we have received a tremendous amount of support over the past week, so a special moment today getting the cars out and getting Fairuz (Fauzy) in the car as well. Both Jarno (Trulli) and Heikki did a superb job in the second session, so overall I can't wipe the grin off my face. A good day.

| Drivers: Vitaly Petrov (Renault), Bruno Senna (HRT), Jarno Trulli (Lotus) and Mark Webber (Red Bull).
Q: Bruno, how tough was Bahrain?
Bruno Senna: It was a pretty big challenge. The team arrived there with no previous preparation and everything had to be done there and we struggled a little bit. We couldn't learn from previous experience, so we had to do everything on the few laps we had and it didn't make our lives easy but the team still did a pretty amazing job to be there and get both cars on the grid.
