| Kamui Kobayashi and Sergio Perez unveiled the new Sauber in Jerez on Monday. The Ferrari-engined C31 will take to the Spanish track later in the day for some promotional filming, ahead of the start of the first multi-team test of the winter on Tuesday.

One-off Kobayashi helmet raises money for Japan |

| A joint project between Sauber driver Kamui Kobayashi and Linkin Park has raised US$19,000 for the victims of last year's Japanese earthquake and tsunami, as part of the US rock group's internationally renowned charity organisation 'Music for Relief'.
The money was amassed after a special helmet, which Kobayashi sported at the 2011 season finale in Brazil, was auctioned after the race. The helmet's one-off livery had been personally designed by Joe Hahn, producer and member of group.

| Sauber have become the first of the 12 Formula One teams to officially confirm a launch date for their 2012 car. The wraps will come off the Ferrari-powered C31 at Jerez on February 6, the day before the start of the first pre-season test at the Spanish circuit.

Though it is only his second full Formula One season, he is already taking on the responsibilities that naturally fall to the more experienced driver in the team.
