| Czech driver Jan Charouz will be in action for HRT this weekend in Brazil. Charouz, who drove for the Spanish team and Renault at last week's young-driver test in Abu Dhabi, will take to the track in Vitantonio Liuzzi's F111 for Friday's opening practice session.
It's a great feeling to be taking part in a Formula One free practice session, he said. I will be driving for HRT F1 Team once again after testing with them last Wednesday in Abu Dhabi and obtaining my superlicence which allows me to take part in the first practice session at the Brazilian Grand Prix. India preview - a new dawn near New Delhi |
2011-10-27 08:55:00 |

Small wonder that the inaugural Indian Grand Prix at the Buddh International Circuit outside New Delhi has everyone very excited this weekend.
Narain Karthikeyan, who will take over Tonio Liuzzi's HRT for the weekend, expects a great home race

Formula One Fantasy - HRT's Vitantonio Liuzzi |
2011-09-16 22:30:00 |
| At 31, Vitantonio Liuzzi still has plenty he'd like to achieve in Formula One racing, including scoring HRT's first world championship points, finishing on the podium for the first time and competing for the world championship.
But above and beyond his own career ambitions, Liuzzi has a pretty defined wish list, including teaming up with Fernando Alonso to drive a JPS Lotus around Imola and dining out with Nigel Mansell, Adrian Newey, Colin Kolles and Gilles Villeneuve

Liuzzi handed five-place grid penalty for Singapore |
2011-09-12 00:33:00 |
| HRT's Vitantonio Liuzzi has been penalised by the Italian race stewards following his accident at the start of Sunday's Monza race. Liuzzi receives a five-place grid penalty for the next round in Singapore.
He lost control of his car going into Turn One, before sliding on the grass and back on to the track at the chicane. Nico Rosberg's Mercedes, Vitaly Petrov's Renault and Liuzzi's own HRT all had to retire on the spot. After a post-race investigation, the stewards decided the Italian driver was at fault for the accident.

Daniel Ricciardo Q&A: I want to learn as much as I can |
2011-08-04 23:14:00 |
| Red Bull protege Daniel Ricciardo made a low-key debut with HRT at last month's British event, qualifying at the back of the grid and finishing in 19th, a lap down on team mate Vitantonio Liuzzi. Although subsequent outings in Germany and Hungary have been similarly subdued, Ricciardo isn't feeling disconcerted. Content to learn as much as he can with the Spanish team, the highly-rated 22 year-old is enjoying every moment

Paddock Postcard from the Hungaroring |
2011-07-31 19:30:00 |
| With barely enough time to move cars and personnel to Budapest following last weekend's German round, let alone arrange any pre-race activities, you would have thought the teams' extra-curricular outings would be minimal in Hungary, but they have still managed to squeeze a few in.
Some of the drivers were busy competing at a charity football match on Wednesday night. The Hungarian All-Star event was held at the Ujpest Megyeri ut Stadium in the heart of Budapest, with HRT's Vitantonio Liuzzi, Renault's Vitaly Petrov, Sauber's Sergio Perez, Ferrari's Felipe Massa, Virgin Jerome D'Ambrosio all taking to the pitch.

Paddock Postcard from Valencia |
2011-06-26 19:13:00 |
| This weekend's European round may be the third street race in succession, but the industrial chic of host city Valencia certainly has a very different flavour to the lushness of Montreal's Ile Notre-Dame and the old-world glamour of Monte Carlo. Situated in the recently-revamped marina area, and with garages located in old fish warehouses, the Spanish track has a very distinctive vibe.
In the build-up to the on-track action there was a raft of pre-race activities for the drivers to enjoy. The HRT duo were amongst the most busy, with Vitantonio Liuzzi and Narain Karthikeyan helping to make (and then tucking into) a huge Paella (the dish originated in Valencia) on Wednesday night. On Thursday they had the chance to work off any calories by testing their mettle on jet skis.

Colin Kolles Q&A: HRT still targeting 10th in the standings |
2011-06-17 17:51:00 |
| HRT enjoyed an excellent outing at last weekend's Canadian round. Vitantonio Liuzzi finished ahead of all the other 'new' teams in 13th, whilst team mate Narain Karthikeyan finished just behind him in 14th until a post-race penalty dropped him to 17th. All in all it was a strong showing from one of the grid's smallest entrants. Team principal Colin Kolles reflects on the Montreal event, discusses his hopes for the rest of the season and looks ahead to starting work on the 2012 HRT at Mercedes' wind tunnel

Paddock Postcard from Monte Carlo |
2011-05-29 19:13:00 |
| Monaco may turn itself over to Formula One racing for the weekend of the Grand Prix, but tradition dictates that football takes centre stage before the on-track action begins, with the annual pre-race 'World Stars' charity match. This year's event - the 18th to be held - was raising money for the reconstruction of the church in Port au Prince, Haiti.
Whilst the Star Team MC, made up of international sports names, was captained by Monaco's very own HSH Prince Albert II, the Formula One side was captained Ferrari's Fernando Alonso. Sauber's Sergio Perez, HRT's Vitantonio Liuzzi, Ferrari's Felipe Massa, Renault's Vitaly Petrov, Virgin Jerome D'Ambrosio and Force India reserve Nico Hulkenberg were amongst the other drivers in action.

Final practice - Alonso tops disjointed Monaco session |

At the end, Tonio Liuzzi's HRT got away from him and its left rear wheel clobbered the tyre wall at Ste Devote before the wreckage slithered up the hill towards Massenet

| Team principals and drivers: Tony Fernandes (Lotus), Heikki Kovalainen (Lotus), Vitantonio Liuzzi (Force India) and Otmar Szafnauer (Force India).
Q: First of all, a question to both team principals. How important is this grand prix for you given the area and the location of your teams?
Tony Fernandes: For me it is very special. The first time Lotus is racing in Malaysia which is our home base and we have received a tremendous amount of support over the past week, so a special moment today getting the cars out and getting Fairuz (Fauzy) in the car as well. Both Jarno (Trulli) and Heikki did a superb job in the second session, so overall I can't wipe the grin off my face. A good day.

| Force India are a team on the move in 2010. With Adrian Sutil, Vitantonio Liuzzi and the VJM03 they have qualified inside the top ten and scored points at both rounds to date. Experienced drivers and a competitive car means it's a pattern that team owner Vijay Mallya is confident will continue.
All he needs now is to find some positive karma for Sutil, who has had all of the pace but none of the luck thus far, to help them close in on P5 in the constructors' standings
